Researchers at the local children’s hospital modified a standard child-size test dummy with an abdomen section filled with liquid and sensors to test seat belts and car seats to save more lives. Photos of the actual assembled device were unavailable. I had some photos of the abdomen device and the name of the dummy model. I put the reference clues together and added the salient information to visualize and explain the device. I created this graphic for the front page of a newspaper on deadline.
